Introducing Dr. Gannon Ward

Dr. Gannon WardAs a child growing up in the U.S.A., I knew that someday I wanted to go into the health care field. I was a very active teenager and at the age of 14 I suffered a severe whiplash injury while cliff diving at a lake in Idaho. My experience at that time with my family chiropractor was fantastic, and with his help I was able to make a full recovery from that injury. After that, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. My decision was only solidified during my undergraduate years when my father in law started displaying symptoms of a stroke.

After a wide variety of tests and being told that he could be suffering from MS, the medical community finally diagnosed a pinched nerve due to poor workplace habits with the use of his computer and telephone. He was then scheduled for invasive back surgery several months later, but in the mean time he could barely function during his day to day routine. Finally he sought relief from a local chiropractor and within a week saw a vast improvement in his condition. Within a month, he was back to normal and had learned proper workplace safety regarding his neck and back.

I attended University here in Calgary at Mount Royal College and the University of Calgary, and graduated from Chiropractic school at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. When I was introduced to Dr. Kale while attending school, I quickly learned what an amazing Chiropractor he is, and took advantage of the opportunity to relocate to Calgary and work with Chase Clinic. When I’m not helping people in the practice get healthy, you will find me enjoying life with my wife and two young children.

Dr Kale Asks some important questions of interest to Calgary residents - Chiropractor Calgary Dr Kale Asks...

Where do most Calgary residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Calgary newborn.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Calgary chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
