Once it is determined that you will benefit from chiropractic care, subsequent visits aim to balance the nervous system and improve the structure and function of your spine.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

In initial intensive care, visits are more frequent to gain momentum in the healing process.  It takes time for ligaments and muscles to relearn new ways of moving and functioning.  We will monitor this process with regular progress exams.

Ninety five percent of the time we run right on schedule, and since we have reserved a time for you we ask that you be on time so we may serve each practice member in a timely fashion. Because our office is paperless, there will be no searching for your file.  You carry with you a health card that enables us to access your file at any computer in the clinic! When a room is ready for you, you will be called into a room where you will swipe your card and lay down on the table.  Relax, this is your time to prepare to receive your adjustment, the doctor will be with you shortly.

As you relax, a variety of measurements will be performed to determine if an adjustment is required. These measures include postural analysis and an assesment of leg length inequality. Additional evaluation of posture may include shoulder height, hip height and deviation of the head to either side. When it is determined an area of the spine requires an adjustment, a handheld instrument will be used to deliver a specific force with the appropriate speed, direction and torque to correct your alignment.

Typical office visits can last anywhere from 5-15 min depending on your individual requirments that day. Because we work with many families we invite you to bring your loved ones with you.  Children's visits will vary slightly from the one described above depending on their age.

Dr Kale Asks some important questions of interest to Calgary residents - Chiropractor Calgary Dr Kale Asks...

Where do most Calgary residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Calgary newborn.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Calgary chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
