Introducing Dr. Kale Matovich

Dr. Kale Matovich

My Chiropractic story began long before I knew anything about chiropractic.  As a child I was struck by a car while riding my bike.  As a result of the many months in hospital and years in recovery I developed a passion for methods of maximizing health.  I changed my diet, became interested in exercise and physical fitness and did pretty much everything else I knew of to optimize my health.  Like many people I didn’t know much about  Chiropractic and I felt great, in fact I was competing at a high level in a variety of sports, so I didn’t think I needed to pursue it.

As a university student I experienced a significant health crisis that seemed to come out of the blue.  After months of searching for help and no significant change I eventually went to see a chiropractor.   WOW!!  I was amazed at the results.  The issue I was dealing with was clearly the result of my injuries sustained many years earlier.  Not only did my current issues resolve quickly under chiropractic care, but I felt so much better than I ever had before.  Regular chiropractic care continues to be the foundation of my health program.   I was very impressed with the holistic approach to healing that Chiropractic embodies, so much so that I realized that my personal health philosophy had put me on the road to becoming a Chiropractor long before I realized it.  All that was left was to get to school.

I completed my undergraduate degree in sciences from the University of Calgary in 1993, and shortly thereafter enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic West in the San Francisco bay area.  I graduated with honours in 1998, and was so inspired to share the message of health and healing in a natural model that I founded the CHASE CLINIC within 9 months of finishing school.  I consistently strive to bring cutting edge information and technology into the practice in order to benefit our practice members, and have a passion for the advancement of Chiropractic Clinical Sciences. To this end our entire team attends seminars several times a year   I continue to be inspired daily by our clients life changing experiences as they include chiropractic care as a part of their regular routine.  The ability to inspire people of all ages and from all walks of life to lead a naturally healthy lifestyle is one of my most profound joys.

In addition to Chiropractic Practice I am a lifelong athlete regularly participating in mountain biking, running, canoeing, adventure racing and pretty much anything else I can talk someone into doing with me.  I am very close with my family and am overjoyed to be able to pursue my career in my hometown of Calgary.

That’s it, that’s all!!

Dr Kale Asks some important questions of interest to Calgary residents - Chiropractor Calgary Dr Kale Asks...

Where do most Calgary residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Calgary newborn.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Calgary chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
